Mathematics Philosophy
The Mathematics Department of Saint John’s believes that mathematics is a powerful tool for understanding and engaging with the world. Our department is committed to providing students with a rigorous, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes curiosity, perseverance, and confidence in their ability to solve problems. We strive to help students build a strong conceptual understanding of mathematics, develop logical reasoning, and apply their skills in real-world contexts. Create a Supportive, Yet Rigorous Classroom Environment
Provide rigorous materials and assignments that push students beyond their comfort zones while ensuring that students feel safe to express their thoughts and questions without fear of judgment. -

Saint John's High School
Saint John’s High School has educated young men under the sponsorship of the Xaverian Brothers since 1898. Through the Saint John’s strong college preparatory curriculum, over 900 students in grades seven through twelve pursue personal and intellectual growth in an environment that is committed to the development of the whole person and recognizes a moral dimension of life through service to God and to others.
