Wrestling | Grades 9-12

The Saint John’s High School Wrestling Program is committed to developing student-athletes both physically and mentally, emphasizing the core values of discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. The program offers rigorous training that focuses on technique, strength, conditioning, and strategy, ensuring athletes are well-prepared for the demands of competitive wrestling. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, wrestlers of all levels—whether beginners or seasoned competitors—receive personalized attention to help them hone their skills in both individual and team settings. The team competes in local and regional tournaments, providing athletes with opportunities to test their abilities, set personal goals, and earn recognition for their hard work. Beyond physical training, the program fosters qualities like mental toughness, resilience, and leadership, preparing wrestlers for success on and off the mat. Whether aspiring to compete at the collegiate level or simply looking to challenge themselves in a dynamic sport, Saint John’s Wrestling Program offers a supportive and motivating environment where athletes can grow and thrive.
Saint John’s High School has educated young men under the sponsorship of the Xaverian Brothers since 1898. Through the Saint John’s strong college preparatory curriculum, over 900 students in grades seven through twelve pursue personal and intellectual growth in an environment that is committed to the development of the whole person and recognizes a moral dimension of life through service to God and to others.
