World Language Philosophy
The Saint John’s World Language Department believes that the study of languages is a vital component in the education of the whole person. Never before in history has there been a more urgent need to develop an awareness of the cultural, linguistic, and sociological diversity that exists in our multi-ethnic society. In responding to our role as educators, the World Language Department has developed a program focusing on language acquisition and cultural competence.

Saint John's High School
Saint John’s High School has educated young men under the sponsorship of the Xaverian Brothers since 1898. Through the Saint John’s strong college preparatory curriculum, over 900 students in grades seven through twelve pursue personal and intellectual growth in an environment that is committed to the development of the whole person and recognizes a moral dimension of life through service to God and to others.
