Hockey | Grades 7-12

The Saint John’s High School Hockey Program is dedicated to developing student-athletes both on and off the ice, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and character building. With a strong coaching staff and a focus on high-level competition, the program is designed for players who are committed to improving their game and striving for excellence. The team competes in various leagues and tournaments, providing athletes with opportunities to showcase their abilities in front of college scouts and professional talent evaluators. Beyond physical development, the program stresses the importance of leadership, discipline, and sportsmanship, fostering a sense of camaraderie among teammates. Whether students aspire to play at the collegiate or professional level or simply enjoy the sport, the Saint John’s Hockey Program offers a challenging yet supportive environment where players can grow, compete, and achieve their goals.

In the past thirty seasons, the Pioneers have boasted twenty-five playoff appearances including seven State Finals, eight “Super 8” appearances, and two Division 1 State Championships in 1999 and 2004.

Saint John’s High School has educated young men under the sponsorship of the Xaverian Brothers since 1898. Through the Saint John’s strong college preparatory curriculum, over 900 students in grades seven through twelve pursue personal and intellectual growth in an environment that is committed to the development of the whole person and recognizes a moral dimension of life through service to God and to others.
